Senior Android Developer – Banking Mobile App

About the role

We are seeking a senior Android consultant to join the Mobile App team of a leading banking client. The role involves shaping the Android roadmap, delivering new features, and defining architecture while collaborating with iOS engineers and cross‑functional teams to ensure a consistent, high‑quality mobile banking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve features across the Android banking application.
• Design and implement scalable mobile architecture using MVVM and Clean Architecture principles.
• Collaborate with iOS engineers and product teams to keep platform experiences aligned.
• Own technical solutions, influence architectural decisions, and ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level Android developers and provide technical leadership.

Required profile

• 7–10+ years of production‑level Android development experience.
• Deep expertise in Kotlin; Java experience is a strong plus.
• Proven track record designing scalable architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps on Google Play.
• Based in Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania and able to work onsite at least two days per week.
