About the role
We are looking for an Embedded Linux Engineer to develop and debug the onboard software that powers our unmanned aerial systems. You will work closely with hardware engineers to bring new drone boards and features to life, ensuring reliable real-time performance in defence and critical-infrastructure missions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded Linux software for drone onboard systems.
- Interface with sensors, cameras, radios via SPI, I2C, UART, CAN.
- Debug complex issues that span software and hardware boundaries.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bring up new boards and integrate features.
- Optimize performance, reliability and real-time behavior of the system.
Required profile
- Strong experience with embedded Linux development.
- Solid low-level programming skills in C/C++.
- Hands-on experience with hardware interfaces and debugging real devices.
- Ability to read schematics, datasheets and understand PCB-level interactions.
