Senior IFRS Expert

About the role

Join Luminor as a Senior IFRS Expert and become the go‑to authority on International Financial Reporting Standards across the group. You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels to ensure that financial statements, disclosures and regulatory reports meet the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Consult and advise internal stakeholders on IFRS and IAS requirements, providing guidance on high‑level accounting schemas.
• Support the preparation of interim and annual financial statements, ensuring full compliance with reporting standards and optimizing disclosures.
• Monitor regulatory developments related to accounting and IFRS, assess impact on financial statements and implement necessary changes.
• Design accounting schemas for new or revised banking products in line with IFRS/IAS and the bank’s chart of accounts.
• Identify control‑environment deficiencies, propose solutions and drive corrective actions.
• Develop internal regulations and documentation for group accounting processes.
• Lead and coordinate accounting‑related process‑improvement projects.
• Collaborate with external auditors and internal teams to provide required financial information for statutory audits and other engagements.

Required profile

• Minimum BSc degree in finance, accounting, economics, banking or business administration.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS (mandatory) and banking products (advantage).
• Experience with FINREP, annual and interim statutory reporting, cross‑border consolidation and product accounting change processes is a plus.
• Proven ability to adapt to changing work situations and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Professional fluency in English, both spoken and written.
