Indirect Tax Practice Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Practice Manager to lead and grow its indirect tax practice, focusing on VAT advisory, client relationships and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and expand the indirect tax practice.
• Manage VAT and other indirect tax advisory projects.
• Develop long‑term client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Mentor, coach and develop the tax team.
• Provide practical tax solutions and stay current with regulatory changes.
• Drive the use of AI, automation and modern technologies to improve efficiency and client value.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in tax, particularly VAT/indirect tax.
• 5+ years of experience managing tax advisory projects.

What we offer

• Salary from €4,800 gross per month plus performance bonus.
• Hybrid work model – 3 days remote, 2 days in the office.
• Location in Riga, Latvia.
