Master Data Specialist

About the role

Vivicta Latvia is seeking a Master Data Specialist to join its finance team. The role focuses on handling master data requests, ensuring data quality, and supporting internal stakeholders across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to master data related requests in internal systems maintained by the MDM unit.
• Check and validate request content, consulting requestors when details are missing or incorrect.
• Process assigned requests within the agreed time frames.
• Provide proactive customer support when needed.
• Conduct regular manual data quality checks to identify discrepancies and deviations from standard procedures.
• Prepare statistics and reports as required.
• Contribute to the improvement and automation of internal MDM processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field (students are also considered).
• Hands‑on experience with data management and master data management.
• Fluent spoken and written English for collaboration with foreign colleagues.
• Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Proficiency in SQL is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented with logical thinking.
• Strong communication skills.
• High sense of responsibility and accuracy.
• Team player attitude.
