Junior IT Operations Specialist – 1 Year Fixed-Term

About the role

Lokalise is looking for a motivated Junior IT Operations Specialist to join its fully remote team for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will support day‑to‑day IT operations, manage user accounts, and provide first‑line technical assistance while occasionally visiting the Riga office for on‑site tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee user lifecycle and provisioning across platforms such as Google Workspace, Okta, Atlassian, and Slack, ensuring role‑based access control.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including account creation, equipment allocation, and access revocation.
• Serve as Level 1 support via the IT service desk and Slack, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues on macOS and Windows devices.
• Diagnose and resolve account access, password reset, and SSO problems, escalating complex cases with clear documentation.
• Create and maintain how‑to guides, FAQs, and internal knowledge‑base articles, and document existing IT processes.

Required profile

• Entry‑level experience (approximately 1 year) in IT operations or related studies.
• Legal right to work and residence in Latvia.
• Ability to work remotely full‑time with occasional visits to the Riga office.
