About the role
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to protect and optimise our cloud infrastructure and platforms. You will lead the design, implementation and monitoring of security controls across Kubernetes‑based workloads, ensuring a resilient and compliant environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review existing Kubernetes clusters, workloads and security configurations to identify gaps against industry best practices.
- Work with the Platform team to embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and Helm chart deployments.
- Design, configure and deploy Falco on Kubernetes, creating custom rules to detect suspicious activity and policy violations.
- Integrate Falco alerts with logging, monitoring and SIEM solutions, defining severity levels and response procedures.
- Validate Falco detections through testing and maintain up‑to‑date documentation, playbooks and runbooks.
- Assist in triage and investigation of runtime security alerts and share knowledge with Cloud Security and Platform teams.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in IT or security roles with a focus on cloud environments.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to correlate data from multiple sources.
- Self‑motivated, collaborative and able to build trustworthy relationships with stakeholders.
