About the role

Wolt is seeking a Data Scientist specialized in Operations Research to enhance its logistics optimization platform. You will join a cross‑functional Logistics Optimization team that builds the route optimizer and delivery‑estimate engine powering courier task allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse logistics data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with optimisation algorithm developers and backend engineers to design and implement enhancements to the route optimizer.
• Design, run, and evaluate live logistics experiments to validate hypotheses.
• Measure the business impact of changes on delivery efficiency, customer satisfaction, and courier engagement.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery‑estimate accuracy.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in operations research or related quantitative fields.
• Ability to translate data insights into actionable product improvements.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, cross‑functional tech teams.
