Flight Data Analysis Engineer

About the role

Redwire Corporation is looking for a data‑driven engineer to turn complex flight telemetry into actionable insights. The role supports reliability, safety and performance improvements for advanced uncrewed aircraft systems.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze system‑ and component‑level telemetry to identify performance trends, anomalies and root causes.
• Parse, visualize and interpret large multi‑channel time‑series datasets from onboard sensors.
• Use Python, MATLAB or similar tools to process mechanical, electrical and thermal performance data.
• Correlate data across subsystems (thermal, vibration, actuator, structural, power) to reconstruct system behavior.
• Own the non‑conformity management process through stage D4.
• Develop evidence‑based conclusions for Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities.
• Collaborate with design, reliability and test engineering teams to validate findings.
• Produce technical reports, plots and executive summaries for engineering and leadership.
• Recommend enhancements to data logging, instrumentation and analysis methods.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Systems Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years experience in system testing, reliability engineering or telemetry‑based performance analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with practical understanding of mechanical and physical system behavior.
• Proven ability to extract insights from noisy or incomplete data.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
