Harness Engineer

About the role

Redwire Corporation is looking for a motivated Harness Engineer to join its Research & Development team at a modern production facility in Riga. You will be responsible for designing and documenting wiring harnesses that support advanced UAV and electro‑optical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Create wiring schematics, define routing, lengths and connection points.
• Select appropriate wires, connectors, terminals, insulation and protective materials.
• Produce mechanical drawings and manufacturing documentation for harness production and assembly.
• Ensure designs meet mechanical, electrical, installation and manufacturability requirements.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical and production engineers on prototypes and production implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Energetic Engineering or a related field.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Experience with mechanical design and harness systems is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor or Fusion 360.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes for harness systems.
