Data Analyst II

About the role

GoCardless is looking for a Data Analyst II to join its Payment Intelligence team. You will work with large customer data sets and help shape the future of the company’s AI‑powered payment products.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product, engineering and data science teams to surface actionable insights that drive product direction.
• Own and iterate on experiments that generate user insight and influence business metrics.
• Define quantitative success criteria, set KPIs and design tracking mechanisms.
• Mentor stakeholders on data‑driven decision making and promote best practices for user tracking.
• Build and maintain models for user segmentation, customer lifetime value and other analytical use cases.

Required profile

• Comfortable working with large, complex data sets and customer‑focused analytics.
• Strong understanding of machine‑learning principles and how they apply to product development.
• Ability to translate data insights into clear business recommendations.
