AI / GenAI Engineer (Mid or Senior)

About the role

We are looking for an AI / GenAI Engineer to help a leading Baltic bank design, build, and deploy cutting‑edge generative and agentic AI solutions. You will work in a fast‑moving environment where your work directly influences how AI is applied to real‑world banking challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and fine‑tune GenAI and agentic AI models that deliver measurable business value.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design AI‑powered features and ensure seamless integration.
• Optimize GenAI systems for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Assist DevOps and QA teams in moving AI solutions to production.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest AI research and adopt relevant advances.

Required profile

• 1+ years of AI/ML development experience for a mid‑level role or 3+ years for senior.
• Hands‑on experience with large language models (OpenAI, Anthropic) and prompt engineering.
• Proven ability to build Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and Graph‑RAG pipelines.
• Strong production mindset, including guardrails, validation, and cost/latency optimisation.
• Fluent English and confidence working in an Azure cloud environment.
