Workday HCM Integrations Specialist

About the role

Intrum is looking for an Information System Specialist to develop, maintain and support its global HR system, focusing on Workday integration development and enhancements. The role is hands‑on and part of the Global IT Delivery – HR organization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse functional requirements and translate them into technical designs, then develop, test, deploy and support Workday integrations and reports.
• Configure and test integrations using Workday Studio, Workday RaaS, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Web Services and XSLT.
• Partner with business analysts, process owners and middleware teams to manage integration projects end‑to‑end.
• Monitor and maintain interfaces between Workday and internal/external systems, handling incidents and performing break/fix support.
• Participate in Workday bi‑annual release reviews, identifying impacts and enhancement opportunities.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Workday payroll integrations (PECI), including configuration, mapping, scheduling and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Workday implementation tools (EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, XSLT, iLoad) and security model.
• Understanding of integration design, testing concepts and middleware frameworks; experience with Kafka or MuleSoft is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
