About the role

You will drive category performance by planning and optimizing commercially effective promotions, analysing their impact and collaborating with suppliers to secure favourable terms.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute promotions for assigned categories.
• Contribute to the development of category management plans and promotion strategies.
• Analyse promotion results against set targets and report findings.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain optimal collaboration conditions.
• Manage marketing service revenue in line with objectives.
• Monitor market trends and consumer preferences within the categories.
• Proactively identify improvement opportunities in your area of responsibility.

Required profile

• Higher education in economics, business administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in retail, promotion planning, procurement or category management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, planning and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive, results‑oriented mindset and capacity to handle stress and solve problems.
• Fluent Latvian and English (English required for collaboration across the Baltic region).

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (advanced).
• SAP/BW (experience considered a plus).
