About the role

As a Senior Sales Associate in the Children’s Department you will inspire customers to create stylish, functional spaces for their families using IKEA products. You will guide shoppers both in‑store and online, turning ideas into attractive home environments that match their needs.

Key responsibilities

• Offer home‑improvement products, advise customers on the best solutions and share product knowledge.
• Actively participate in the sales process to ensure efficient store operations and excellent customer service.
• Maintain department order, prepare the floor for the next day and keep the sales area looking freshly opened.
• Control product placement, ensuring the department is always presentable.
• Support the department manager with scheduling, prioritising tasks, monitoring sales results and driving growth.
• Cover the manager’s duties during absences, leading the team, handling daily challenges and ensuring high‑quality client service.

Required profile

• Experience in retail and small‑team leadership is desirable.
• Excellent sales and communication abilities.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and set priorities.
• Proficiency in Latvian.
• Interest in interior design and home furnishing.

Required skills

• Computer skills (very good user level)
