About the role

Join IKEA Latvia as a Sales Consultant in the Children’s Department, helping customers create inspiring and functional spaces for their kids. You will work on the shop floor, online, and wherever IKEA products are displayed, turning colors, textures, and items into attractive home environments.

Key responsibilities

• Actively approach customers, advise on the best solutions, and share product knowledge.
• Participate in the sales process and daily store operations to ensure efficient service.
• Restock merchandise in the sales area, including work at height.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store appearance each day.
• Work shifts, including weekends and holidays, between 09:00 and 21:00.

Required profile

• Retail customer‑service experience is a plus.
• Interest in home furnishing and children’s products.
• Strong communication skills and high service quality.
• Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
• Energetic, solution‑oriented team player.
• Good computer skills for using IKEA planning tools and ordering system.
