Senior Sales Consultant – Bedroom & Living Room Furniture

About the role

IKEA Latvia is looking for a Senior Sales Consultant to join the Bedroom and Living Room Furniture department. You will help customers create functional and stylish home interiors while contributing to the store’s daily performance.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers on wardrobes, shelving systems and overall home‑furnishing solutions.
• Participate in the sales process, share product knowledge and support the team’s daily activities.
• Maintain product presentation in the sales area, ensuring the store looks freshly opened each day.
• Assist the department manager and step in during absences, overseeing scheduling, priority setting, sales tracking and growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in retail and small‑team leadership.
• Excellent sales and communication abilities.
• Proven capability to monitor and drive sales results.
• Adaptability to a dynamic environment and strong prioritisation skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluency in Latvian and good computer proficiency.
• Interest in home furnishing and interior design.
