Transportation Specialist – EMEA

About the role

Cabot Corporation is seeking an EMEA Transportation Specialist to ensure the smooth and timely movement of its products across international locations. You will act as the bridge between internal departments and carrier partners, coordinating deliveries and handling any issues that arise.

Key responsibilities

• Book trucks for loading at plants and warehouses according to carrier agreements.
• Manage the execution of deliveries to ensure they are smooth and on schedule.
• Identify and implement solutions when unexpected events occur.
• Communicate any deviations from the original plan to relevant teams.
• Monitor carrier performance to ensure agreed pricing, conditions, and service quality are maintained.

Required profile

• Eagerness to provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and coordinate activities efficiently.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in transportation or logistics is advantageous.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent English.
