System Security Architect

About the role

We are looking for a System Security Architect to lead the security strategy for our core DevOps platforms used by thousands of developers. The role sits within Swisscom’s DevOps Foundation Services Agile Release Train (ART) and works closely with system engineers, developers and security champions to make security a business enabler.

Key responsibilities

• Define, develop and continuously evolve the ART’s security architecture and roadmap.
• Support risk‑mitigation decisions while balancing innovation, compliance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams and security champions to embed security best practices into daily workflows.
• Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments and architecture reviews for new initiatives.
• Participate in PI Planning and ART syncs to track security aspects of ongoing work.
• Ensure contractual, legal and standards compliance together with governance managers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in security architecture, DevSecOps or related roles within complex IT environments.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of DevOps practices, cloud and container security, and Identity & Access Management.
• Proven ability to work in Agile Release Train environments and to influence cross‑functional teams.
