Senior UX Designer – Financial Crime Prevention

About the role

As a Senior UX Designer you will create intuitive, reliable digital tools that help banks prevent financial crime, covering AML, fraud detection and regulatory compliance. You will work in cross‑functional teams with developers, product managers and domain experts, and be part of a dedicated UX group within Tieto’s design community.

Key responsibilities

• Design complex, business‑critical workflows for financial crime prevention.
• Lead discovery activities, problem framing and definition of user needs.
• Create interaction designs, user flows, wireframes and high‑fidelity prototypes.
• Participate in research sessions, workshops and usability testing.
• Translate insights into clear, scalable user experiences.
• Collaborate with and contribute to design systems.
• Utilise rapid and AI‑supported prototyping tools.
• Communicate and justify design decisions to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• 4+ years of UX design experience for digital products.
• Strong interaction and user‑centered design skills.
• Solid experience with Figma across discovery, concept, detailed design and validation.
• Ability to own a product area or feature set and plan design efforts.
• Experience with design systems and complex solutions.
• Interest in using AI tools for early exploration and rapid refinement.
• Fluent English; experience in regulated finance domains is a plus.
