Senior QA Engineer with Automation

About the role

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with Automation to join our engineering team. The position combines strong manual testing fundamentals with a focus on building reliable automated tests for complex, integrated web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform UI and API testing of complex web applications.
• Develop and refine comprehensive test plans.
• Write and maintain automated tests, primarily using Cypress.
• Collaborate closely with developers in an Agile environment.
• Track and manage test cases using JIRA, TestRail, and Qmetry.
• Identify manual testing processes that can be automated for greater reliability and maintainability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a Manual QA at a senior level.
• Hands‑on experience with QA automation (UI or API).
• Automation‑oriented mindset with comfort in programming concepts and logical problem‑solving.
• Strong understanding of HTTP, HTML, AJAX, JSON, REST APIs, and client‑server architecture.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Fluent written and spoken English; ability to communicate in Russian or Ukrainian.
