Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Lead Game Tech Strategy

About the role

Estoty is looking for a hands‑on CTO to shape the company’s technology strategy and lead the development of game backend systems, shared services, infrastructure, and internal platforms. This senior technical leadership role combines strategic ownership with hands‑on engineering, allowing you to define technical direction, drive architectural decisions, and solve complex challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Define technology strategy, architecture, and technical roadmap across the company.
• Lead development of game backend systems and shared GameTech services such as Nakama and GameKit.
• Manage UA technology integrations, advertising network connections, and creative management systems.
• Oversee internal platforms and tools, including back‑office, helpdesk, and automation solutions.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, security, and cost efficiency on AWS and Google Cloud.
• Establish engineering standards for development, testing, releases, monitoring, and incident management.
• Mentor engineers, shape the engineering organization, and drive critical technical initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience as CTO, Head/VP of Engineering, Principal Engineer, or Technical Director.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in backend development and distributed systems architecture.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and align technical work with business priorities.
• Hands‑on mindset with willingness to dive into complex systems when needed.
