Senior Full-stack Developer

About the role

We are building a new Online Product Development team in Riga to create customer‑facing digital platforms for subscription management, billing, and self‑service. As a Senior Full‑stack Developer you will join as one of the first engineers, providing technical leadership, mentoring, and coordinating delivery with our Swiss‑based product owner.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack web applications using Ruby on Rails, React and modern frontend technologies.
• Participate in the transition toward TypeScript‑based applications, potentially using Angular.
• Lead technical discussions, make architecture decisions and enforce code quality together with the Swiss engineering team.
• Review code, mentor engineers and promote best practices across the near‑shore team.
• Coordinate delivery activities, support backlog refinement, effort estimation and sprint planning.
• Ensure production stability, handle incident follow‑up and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Docker‑based environments and engineering automation.

Required profile

• Several years of experience as a full‑stack developer, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and guide technical decisions.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with remote stakeholders in Switzerland.
• Experience working in agile teams and coordinating delivery.

• Salary €4,800 – €6,800 gross per month.
