Data Warehouse Support Specialist

About the role

As a Data Warehouse Support Specialist you will ensure the stability and smooth operation of the production Data Warehouse environment. You will monitor daily processes, support critical end‑of‑day and end‑of‑month cycles, troubleshoot ETL and performance issues, and collaborate with technical and business teams to resolve incidents quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the Production Data Warehouse environment on a daily basis to guarantee stability and continuity.
• Ensure successful execution and timely completion of EOD and EOM processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL jobs, data loads, and performance bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for smooth operations and incident resolution.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for incidents and recurring problems, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Document and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, and support guides.

Required profile

• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, Sybase IQ, or MS SQL Server.
• Understanding of Data Warehouse architecture and ETL principles.
• Strong knowledge of T‑SQL and PL/SQL.
• Ability to manage production workloads under time constraints.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, mathematics, or physics.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) for Pan‑Baltic collaboration.
• Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation one week per month, including occasional weekend coverage.
