Senior Data Engineer

About the role

Emergn is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help shape its data‑driven future in Latvia. You will join a global consultancy that values real impact, continuous learning and a collaborative culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows.
• Develop and optimise data models using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI.
• Produce and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), with training available if needed.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in data engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Microsoft SQL Server
• T‑SQL (stored procedures, views, user‑defined functions)
• Power BI
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) – training provided if not mastered
