Senior Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to protect and optimise our cloud infrastructure and platforms. You will design, implement and maintain security controls across Kubernetes environments and ensure continuous monitoring with modern tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing Kubernetes workloads, configurations and security posture.
• Identify risks, misconfigurations and gaps against industry best practices.
• Work with the Platform team to embed security controls into deployment pipelines.
• Secure Helm chart management, values files and release configurations.
• Design, configure and deploy Falco on Kubernetes, customizing rules and integrations.
• Define alert severity, escalation paths and response guidance for Falco alerts.
• Validate detections, maintain documentation and create playbooks for common security events.
• Assist in triage and investigation of runtime security alerts.
• Deliver technical documentation and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in IT or security roles, with a focus on Kubernetes security.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to correlate data from multiple sources.
• Self‑motivated, collaborative and able to build trustworthy relationships.
