SAP FICO Engineering Manager

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and goal‑oriented SAP FICO Engineering Manager to lead the creation, implementation, and optimization of SAP financial and controlling solutions. You will ensure successful delivery of SAP projects while aligning technical strategies with our organizational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a global team of SAP FICO specialists, building high‑performing squads across multiple locations.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, performance reviews, promotions, and compensation.
• Drive strategic initiatives to expand and enhance the SAP FICO function worldwide.
• Prepare project proposals and statements of work in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.
• Act as the primary client contact, overseeing delivery quality, team performance, and project timelines.
• Maintain expert‑level knowledge of SAP FICO best practices and ensure their application across projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on SAP experience, specifically with FICO modules.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role (e.g., Manager, Architect, Coordinator).
• Experience managing teams of 5+ members and participating in at least two full‑cycle SAP implementations.
• Strong expertise in Agile (Scrum) methodologies and software/application architecture.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
