SAP BTP Architect

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP BTP Architect to design, govern, and deliver enterprise‑grade SAP Business Technology Platform solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP solution architects, and development teams to create secure, scalable, and cloud‑compliant architectures that drive digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP BTP services, governance standards, and best practices.
• Define the enterprise BTP reference architecture and operating model.
• Architect multi‑subaccount, global account, tenant, and landscape strategies.
• Develop extension architectures supporting Clean Core, event‑driven and API‑first approaches.
• Lead SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and hybrid SAP/non‑SAP landscape designs.
• Establish integration governance, reusable patterns, B2B, EDI, API, and event‑based integrations.
• Support AI Foundation, Joule adoption, and generative AI integration patterns.
• Define CI/CD, DevSecOps operating model, security guardrails, and observability architecture.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in enterprise, solution, and integration architecture.
• Strong expertise in SAP BTP services (Integration Suite, HANA Cloud, Event Mesh).
• Proficiency with SAP Build Work Zone, Build Apps, Build Process Automation.
• Knowledge of SAP Business Application Studio, AI Core/Launchpad, Mobile Services.
• Hands‑on skills with XSUAA, Destination & Connectivity Services, Cloud Connector.
• Competency in CAP, CDS, ABAP Cloud, RAP and background in Node.js, Java, Fiori.
• Familiarity with OData, REST APIs, Joule, Cloud Foundry, Kyma Runtime, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of SAP IAS, IPS, OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect and BTP authorization concepts.
• Advanced English (B2+/C1).
