Production Engineer

About the role

Redwire Corporation is looking for a Production Engineer to optimise and industrialise manufacturing processes for electronic products. You will work in a modern production facility, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety while bringing new products to market.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and improve existing manufacturing processes to reduce waste, cost and cycle time.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline production workflows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues and apply solutions.
• Industrialise new electronic products, including equipment selection, layout and jig/fixture design.
• Prepare process flow diagrams, P‑FMEA and detailed work instructions for technicians.
• Provide training and support for new processes and equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as an Electronics Engineer, Production Process Engineer or NPI Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, wiring diagrams, sensors, circuit boards and programming.
• Fluent in written and spoken Latvian and English.

• PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) familiarity
• Proficiency with CAD software
• Experience using ERP systems
