Product Designer

About the role

Nutrameg is looking for a highly driven Product Designer to shape user experiences across its digital products. The designer works closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Management, Engineering and Marketing, and may also be considered for a Product Owner role. The position is based in Riga with a hybrid setup.

Key responsibilities

• Design user-centered interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications.
• Improve user conversion, retention and engagement through design solutions across the whole product.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering so designs are implemented seamlessly.
• Maintain and contribute to the company's design system and keep brand consistency.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools and best practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI design or a similar role.
• Experience in Product Management is highly desirable.
• Precision and organisation when creating and maintaining designs.
• Ability to balance business needs, user experience and technical feasibility.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of English; copywriting skills are a big plus.

Required skills

• Figma, comfortable with auto-layout, components and all its features.
• Adobe Creative Suite.
• Prototyping tools and usability testing methodologies.
• Solid understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript knowledge is a plus).
