Payments Performance Analyst

About the role

Join a dynamic team at an international Payment Service Provider to optimise payment processes and drive performance improvements. As a Payments Performance Analyst you will analyse payment channels, identify key drivers, and support data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse performance across payment channels, methods and partners to uncover drivers behind changes.
• Own and monitor core payment metrics such as approval rates, conversion rates and transaction costs.
• Detect trends, anomalies and performance gaps before they impact the business.
• Build and maintain dashboards and analytical reports for stakeholders.
• Propose and implement optimisation strategies to improve payment performance.
• Investigate performance variations and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance and Compliance teams to translate insights into business actions.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience in data analysis, preferably within Payments, FinTech, Banking or a similar transaction‑heavy industry.
• Fluent in English and Russian for daily communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• SQL – ability to extract, manipulate and analyse large datasets.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including analytical modelling.
• Experience with BI and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio.
