OSS Automation Engineer – Network Lifecycle Automation

About the role

We are seeking an OSS Automation Engineer to join our international engineering team focused on advanced connectivity and network infrastructure. Based in our Latvian engineering centre, you will own the automation of network and ground‑segment lifecycle processes, turning manual coordination into governed, automated workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy automation processes within the OSS platform, covering provisioning, configuration management, fault handling, and cross‑domain orchestration.
• Translate architectural specifications, ICDs, and functional requirements into clean, well‑tested, production‑ready code.
• Write modular, maintainable software following coding standards and provide comprehensive documentation.
• Implement integration tests, regression suites, and performance benchmarks for all components.
• Participate in design and code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback.
• Support system‑level integration testing to ensure software meets acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to agile delivery: sprint planning, backlog grooming, and milestone delivery.
• Maintain technical documentation, including API contracts, test results, and operational runbooks.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to validate requirements and ensure operational fit.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 + years of professional experience in network or business‑process automation within a live‑network operational environment.
• Proven track record building production automation and orchestration workflows.
