About the role
We are seeking a Network Administrator to manage a high‑traffic enterprise network that spans on‑premises infrastructure and cloud environments. You will work closely with Development, Security, and Engineering teams to keep the network stable, resilient, and secure.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve network incidents reported by users and monitoring tools.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address weaknesses.
- Support the design, deployment, and integration of new network solutions and third‑party services.
- Implement high‑availability and failover architectures for critical network components.
- Conduct packet analysis and detailed troubleshooting to maintain service continuity.
Required profile
- Strong communication skills in English and Latvian.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Proactive learner who stays current with networking trends and emerging technologies.
Required skills
- Deep knowledge of DNS and DHCP services.
- Proficiency with IP, TCP/UDP, IPSec, BGP, and RADIUS (IEEE 802.1X) protocols.
- Hands‑on experience with Fortigate firewalls and Aruba networking equipment.
- Practical experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud networking.
- Design and implementation of high‑availability and failover network solutions.
- Advanced network troubleshooting, packet capture, and debugging techniques.
