Network Engineering Operations Engineer

About the role

The Network Engineering Operations Engineer will join Webbing's Network Engineering Operations team, ensuring the stability, reliability and efficiency of the company’s global network infrastructure. You will act as a bridge between the NOC, engineering teams and external vendors, handling incidents and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Incident Management – handle customer tickets, investigate issues and resolve them within SLA.
• Cross‑Team Collaboration – work with engineering, vendors and suppliers to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Knowledge Sharing – document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for NOC and Customer Support.
• Root Cause Analysis – conduct post‑incident reviews and recommend platform enhancements.
• Project Involvement – participate in special projects and task forces requiring multi‑platform investigations.
• Change Management – support network changes while minimizing impact.
• Performance Optimization – monitor network performance and proactively prevent recurring issues.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of IP networking, packet core technologies, VoLTE/IMS and telecom protocols (TCP/IP, GTP, SIP, DIAMETER, MAP, SMPP).
• Strong troubleshooting skills using tracing tools and Wireshark.
• Experience in Linux/Unix environments for network diagnostics (preferred).
• Ability to analyse complex problems and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented with strong documentation abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, 24/7 operational environment, including on‑call rotations.
