Logistics Specialist Internship

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic logistics intern to join our container transportation department. This internship offers a dynamic environment where you will learn how containers travel across Latvia and the Baltic region, guided by an experienced mentor from the terminal to the customer’s door.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior colleagues in planning and coordinating container deliveries throughout Latvia and the Baltic states.
• Maintain daily communication with drivers, terminal staff, and partners to confirm loading/unloading times and cargo status.
• Prepare and verify freight documents such as CMRs and enter data into the logistics system.
• Shadow senior logistics specialists to observe route planning and real‑time problem solving (e.g., terminal delays, congestion).

Required profile

• Strong interest in logistics and supply‑chain processes, currently studying a related field.
• Good command of Latvian for daily communication with Baltic partners (additional languages are a plus).
• Quick learner, high accuracy when handling data, and willingness to master new systems.
• Ability to stay calm and focused in fast‑changing, dynamic situations.
