About the role

We are looking for a motivated Jurist/e to join our Client Compliance team. You will be responsible for reviewing client legal documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate potential clients' legal documents before initiating business relationships.
• Review existing client documentation for conformity with applicable regulations.
• Verify client identity, legal status, and ownership structures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of company officials, owners and beneficial owners.
• Search public registers, sanctions lists, PEP databases and other sources for relevant information.
• Identify non‑conformities, legal risks and suspicious indicators in client files.
• Prepare legal opinions and schematic illustrations of ownership structures.
• Support internal audits and respond to requests from external competent authorities.

Required profile

• University degree in Law.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in legal research or compliance within a bank, financial institution or fintech.
• Strong understanding of legal person structures and beneficial‑owner identification.
• Ability to independently analyse legal documents and spot compliance gaps.
• Proficient in Latvian and good command of English for documentation work.
