Java / Cloud Solution Developer

About the role

SEB is looking for a Java / Cloud Solution Developer to join its Analytics and Reporting team in Riga. You will design and implement large‑scale Big Data solutions, create robust data pipelines, and help migrate existing systems to Google Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Build large‑scale Big Data solutions for streaming and batch processing using modern technologies.
• Develop, maintain, and optimise complex data pipelines and Big Data systems.
• Perform high‑quality analysis of large‑scale transactional data.
• Participate in the migration of legacy solutions to cloud‑based platforms and contribute to cloud solution development.

Required profile

• Strong experience programming in Java (experience with Scala or Python is a plus).
• Hands‑on experience with cloud solutions and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Enthusiasm for sharing knowledge on Big Data technologies.
• Interest in taking on larger responsibilities within an agile, SAFe‑oriented environment.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written, with good communication skills.
