About the role
The Infrastructure Security Manager is responsible for leading physical security, resilience and business continuity measures across the organization. The role ensures protection of people, assets, information and operations in line with Latvian, EU and NATO regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve the facility security management system.
- Identify, assess and mitigate security risks, ensuring compliance with documented security requirements.
- Plan and oversee infrastructure risk self‑assessment, resilience and security initiatives.
- Implement business continuity and recovery procedures and organise related training.
- Manage physical security, access control, perimeter protection, security zoning and technical security systems.
- Collaborate with senior management, internal units and state authorities.
- Promote security awareness, deliver training and provide regular resilience reports.
- Define guidelines for evaluating threats from remotely managed devices and implement necessary safeguards.
- Coordinate personnel security, access rights, security checks and protection of classified or sensitive information.
- Establish incident identification, reporting, escalation and response processes, including mandatory notifications to state bodies.
- Assess and manage security and resilience risks associated with suppliers and external service providers.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in facility or industrial security, risk management or a related field.
- Proven experience in planning, implementing and assessing infrastructure security, resilience and business continuity measures.
- Experience working with state institutions and knowledge of Latvian legal requirements for infrastructure, industrial security and classified information protection.
- Higher education in military, security, risk management, law, business, engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent written and spoken Latvian and English.
- High sense of responsibility, integrity and discretion.
- Ability to make independent decisions and coordinate cross‑functional collaboration.
