Cyber Security Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Lead to own and advance information security across our global e‑commerce and production group. You will protect online shops, internal platforms, cloud and on‑premise infrastructure, and manufacturing sites in several countries.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the security roadmap, reviewing the current setup and aligning priorities with business goals.
• Strengthen detection and response by evolving incident response processes from monitoring to recovery.
• Harden platforms through secure architecture, access management, vulnerability management and penetration testing.
• Manage third‑party risk by reviewing vendors, partners and integrations.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, NIS2 and other regulations, supporting audits and security questionnaires.
• Build security awareness across 750+ employees through training and clear policies.
• Leverage automation and AI to streamline monitoring, reporting and routine checks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on cyber security experience in incident response, security operations or consulting.
• Broad technical grounding across cloud and on‑premise environments, networks, identity and web‑application security.
• Proven experience leading incident handling and communicating with non‑technical leaders.
• Familiarity with GDPR, NIS2 and ISO 27001 or similar frameworks.
• Pragmatic judgement to distinguish real risks from theoretical ones.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset and professional English; German is a plus.
