Financial Risk Analyst

About the role

Eleving Group is seeking a Financial Risk Analyst to join its Europe Hub. You will develop and maintain credit loss provisioning models, ensure accurate reporting, and provide strategic insights that support effective risk management and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage credit provisioning models in line with IFRS 9 and related standards.
• Oversee Expected Credit Loss (ECL) calculations on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Monitor portfolio performance, identify risk trends and recommend provisioning strategies.
• Conduct model validation, back‑testing and stress‑testing activities.
• Prepare high‑quality risk reports and deliver insights on credit risk trends to management.
• Collaborate with Finance, Credit Risk, Data Science, Product, Collections and IT teams to enhance risk frameworks.
• Support budgeting processes, financial statement alignment and respond to auditors and regulators.
• Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement of risk modeling practices.

Required profile

• University degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk modeling, ECL frameworks and financial analysis.
• Practical experience with IFRS 9, Basel standards and credit provisioning processes.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while being flexible and solution‑oriented.
• Fluent English.
