Head of Tax

About the role

TaxLink Latvia is seeking an experienced tax professional to lead and develop its general tax practice. You will be responsible for building client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and shaping the future of the firm’s tax services.

Key responsibilities

• Independently lead and deliver general tax advisory projects for local and international clients.
• Provide practical advice on Latvian and international tax matters.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Identify and develop new tax advisory opportunities, including cross‑selling to existing transfer‑pricing clients.
• Prepare and review tax opinions for clients.
• Contribute to business development and market positioning of the tax service line.

Required profile

• Significant professional experience in tax advisory, preferably at Tax Manager, Director or equivalent level.
• Strong knowledge of Latvian tax matters.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for client projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Commercial mindset with genuine interest in business development.
• Fluent Latvian; additional foreign languages are a plus.
