Finance Manager

About the role

BayWa r.e. Solar Systems SIA is looking for a results‑driven Finance Manager with solid accounting experience to lead the company’s financial and reporting functions. The successful candidate will manage the full accounting cycle, prepare financial statements, and provide strategic insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance and accounting function across the organization.
• Execute the complete accounting cycle, including month‑end, year‑end close and annual reporting.
• Prepare tax declarations, mandatory reports and ensure compliance with Latvian regulations.
• Develop budgets, financial forecasts and cash‑flow statements.
• Analyse turnover, gross profit, margins, EBITDA, costs and profitability.
• Provide regular financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
• Manage receivables, payables, inventory, cash flow and working capital.
• Coordinate group‑level financial reporting and liaise with auditors, banks and tax authorities.
• Identify manual processes and implement digital, automated solutions.
• Oversee the finance team, defining clear responsibilities and ensuring effective collaboration.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
• Practical experience in accounting, including full‑cycle bookkeeping and month‑/year‑end close.
• Strong knowledge of Latvian tax and accounting regulations.
• Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills, mathematical thinking and attention to detail.
• Fluent English for work in an international group.
• Interest in fintech, automation and digital finance solutions.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision / Business Central (ERP system).
• Advanced Excel for financial analysis.
• Strong financial analysis and reporting capabilities.
