Data Analyst – Business Intelligence

About the role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team at SEB in Riga. The role focuses on turning transaction data into actionable insights for large corporate clients, regulators and internal units, supporting the bank’s drive for efficiency and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with business partners to gather data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Automate data pipelines and improve reporting processes, seeking integration opportunities with new systems.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency and sustainability across all deliverables.
• Share best practices and knowledge on data analytics with team members and other departments.

Required profile

• Self‑driven, positive, innovative and open‑minded professional.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fluent in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI and Looker Studio.
• Solid SQL knowledge for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience programming in Python (or other languages) for data processing.
