Compliance and Risk Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Compliance and Risk Specialist to ensure our operations meet regulatory requirements, identify and manage compliance risks, and support effective internal processes across the Baltic region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess, document and monitor compliance risks and mitigation measures.
• Ensure internal policies and processes comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop, maintain and regularly review compliance and risk‑management policies and procedures.
• Conduct controls to verify employee adherence to internal compliance standards.
• Provide regular reports to senior management and Citadele Group units on compliance status and risk management.

Required profile

• University degree in law, economics, business administration or a related field.
• Experience in the financial sector, preferably in capital markets.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, especially investor protection and market abuse prevention.
• Motivation to improve processes, ensure compliance and take responsibility.
• Analytical mindset for gathering, compiling and evaluating information.
• Fluent written and spoken English for Baltic‑wide collaboration.
