Accounts Payable Accountant (Hybrid) – Riga

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Shared Service Centre in Riga. You will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting audit activities in a hybrid international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure accuracy of AP workflow approvals.
• Process AP invoices, including booking, payments, vendor and inter‑company reconciliations, period closures and AP vs. GL reconciliations.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and work with relevant teams to settle disputes.
• Provide auditors with required documentation within defined deadlines.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors, sales companies and SSC departments, handling inquiries and payment‑related issues.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Finance or Accounting, or currently studying in the field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate results quickly.
• Self‑driven with excellent time‑management skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Good analytical and communication abilities, adaptable to a changing environment.
• Proficient in English (written, read, spoken); SAP Financial Accounting knowledge is a plus.
