Communication Manager – Tech & Employee Experience

About the role

As the Communication Manager in the Tech Communication & Employee Experience Department, you will lead external communication initiatives and strengthen If’s presence as a technology employer while supporting internal community‑building across the Global If Tech Community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement PR and external communication activities, including media relations, blog articles and expert content.
• Increase visibility and positioning of the If Tech Community, its leaders and ambassadors.
• Plan and execute external presence at industry events, conferences and speaker activities.
• Manage social media communication, sponsorships and partnership projects across the Baltics and Nordics.
• Organise internal Tech Community initiatives and events worldwide to connect tech colleagues.
• Support leadership communication through forums, conferences and internal engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in communications, PR or media relations.
• Higher education degree.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English and Latvian.
• Strong communication, project and stakeholder management abilities.
• Comfortable engaging with tech specialists, senior leaders, journalists and external partners.

Required skills

• Fluent English.
• Fluent Latvian.
