Category Manager

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Category Manager to drive the commercial success of our product categories. You will shape the strategic direction, manage the full product lifecycle and collaborate across teams to strengthen our market leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan for assigned product categories aligned with company objectives.
• Monitor, analyse and report on category performance against KPIs, making data‑driven decisions to boost revenue and profitability.
• Maintain and optimise the product catalog to ensure market‑leading selection, quality and pricing.
• Identify growth opportunities by analysing e‑commerce trends, merchant needs and market data.
• Lead new product launches, working closely with sourcing, onboarding and design teams.
• Provide data‑driven insights to stakeholders and help shape the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to create effective go‑to‑market strategies.
• Work with product teams to improve merchant onboarding and product creation experiences.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in category management, buying or a related commercial role, preferably in e‑commerce or retail.
• Proven track record of managing a product catalog and driving revenue growth.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of Power BI for data visualisation and analysis.
