C++ Software Engineer – Machine Learning & Networking

About the role

Ubiquiti’s Riga team is looking for a self‑driven C++ developer to build next‑generation networking features, including a machine‑learning‑based device recognition engine for consumer and enterprise products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Linux‑based applications and networking protocols.
• Design, implement, and improve network device recognition algorithms that leverage machine‑learning principles.
• Build and maintain VPN‑related features and applications.
• Analyse and resolve technical problems within the product team.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience with modern C++.
• Hands‑on experience with Haskell and Golang.
• Proven background developing Linux user‑space applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Latvian.
• Familiarity with AI assistance tools such as Claude or Codex.
