Assets & Fleet Manager

About the role

Omniva is seeking an experienced Assets & Fleet Manager to take ownership of its fleet, leased premises and operational assets in Latvia. The role combines strategic planning, supplier management, budgeting and hands‑on problem solving to keep the company’s logistics operations running safely, efficiently and cost‑effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the daily Assets & Fleet function for the Latvian site, supervising a small team of specialists.
• Plan, monitor and coordinate fleet maintenance and repairs to maximise vehicle availability.
• Manage premises‑related issues, liaising with landlords and service providers.
• Oversee contracts and supplier relationships for operational services, including procurement and negotiations.
• Prepare and control budgets, approve invoices and track costs.
• Analyse asset and fleet utilisation, identify cost‑saving opportunities and implement improvements.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Procurement, Finance and Baltic colleagues.

Required profile

• Previous experience in fleet, facilities, operations or asset management.
• Proven ability to coordinate suppliers and external service providers.
• Experience managing budgets and controlling costs.
• Confidence working with contracts and procurement processes.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent Latvian (written and spoken) and good English (written and spoken).
• Valid Category B driver’s licence.
