Accountant & Project Manager – Finance & Process Innovation

About the role

We are looking for an accountant who also enjoys driving projects and improving processes. In this hybrid role you will support Madara Cosmetics’ finance team while contributing to company‑wide initiatives that make accounting more efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Check and record incoming invoices and post sales invoices.
• Prepare payments, record bank transactions and monitor mutual settlements.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes and manage posting‑control procedures.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives and various cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Degree or background in accounting, finance or economics.
• Minimum 3 years of full‑cycle accounting experience.
• Strong sense of accuracy, responsibility and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to propose and implement new ideas.
• Interest in AI‑driven solutions and digital tools for finance.
• Fluent English and Latvian for professional communication.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel – advanced proficiency with large data sets.
